By inviting MicroBalls to your Discord server, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. You are also responsible for informing the members of your discord server about these terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or adding any version of MicroBalls to your server.
Changes may be done to these terms with a notification in the Support Server, and the bot will not leave servers. You have 24 hours to remove the bot from the server if you do not accept the changes. You agree that you are responsible for being aware of the changes these terms may have.
Glossary
- “Application” or “Discord application” refers to the Discord bot user, its associated owners and the servers is has
- “Bot” or “instance” refers to the copy of the code running the Discord application, with its own data
- “Collectible” refers to any object that is meant to be collected, such as micronationballs or other future means like virtual currency
- “Application owners” refers to the owners of the Discord application, meaning the one with any form of access to the application’s authentication method and data belonging to the instance
- “MicroBalls moderation team”, “moderation team” or “Developers” refers to the owners of the Discord application and the users they may chose to be part of the moderation team.

A Discord clan member can generally be identified by the following characteristics:
– Inclusion of the clan name within their username or display name, typically consisting of 3-4 characters with obfuscated characters. This name is often enclosed in brackets and positioned at the beginning or end of their username.
– Possession of numerous alternate accounts or a history of multiple bans from Discord.
Occasionally, though not universally, clan members may exhibit the following behaviors:
– Use of profile pictures related to World War I or II.
– Communication in cryptic or obfuscated text, intended to evade detection by Discord. For instance, “Ⴙеllo nυĸе” differs from “hello nuke.”
A definitive indicator of a clan member or leader can be found in:
– Expressions of intent to engage in nuking, hacking, or raiding activities against others.
– Employment of a selfbot, where a user issues a command (e.g., .help) and responds as though they are a bot themselves.
– Conversations or announcements pertaining to clan-related topics, such as nuking, raiding, selfbot usage, within an actual Discord clan server or via announcements by a clan leader.
Should any of these criteria be met, Microball Developers retain the right to blacklist the user from utilizing the bot.
Disclaimer
You are strictly prohibited to use Microballs against the ToS of Discord or for illegal purposes. If you find people or communities using MicroBalls against the ToS of Discord or even for illegal activities, please make a report in the Suggestions forum in the Support Server.
By agreeing to the Terms, you are authorizing the MicroBalls bot to rarely share promotional messages in the spawn channel, providing information on other projects and developments from the development team.
Open Source
The code of MicroBalls was forked and is available at https://github.com/laggron42/BallsDex-DiscordBot for anyone to use. It is using the MIT licence which should be respected when using the bot. Most notably, it comes without warranty and liability. A copy of the licence can be found below.

Availability
- MicroBalls is provided as-is. There are no guarantees that it will be available in the future, and its purpose or availability may be changed at any time.
- User related data including backups may be deleted at any time.
- User related data including backups is non-transferable between discord accounts.
- Access to all or specific features of the bot may be revoked, for all or a specific user, at any time.
Rules
Any user using MicroBalls must abide by these rules. The following point are prohibited:
- Abusive farming of the collectibles from the bot. The following points are considered abuse:
- Inviting the bot in servers for the sole purpose of obtaining collectibles. Exceptions may be drawn when a community aspect is forming around the activity, which is not limited to catching collectibles (e.g. trades).
- Attempting to abuse the spawn system. This includes using bots for sending repeated messages and forcing collectibles to spawn.
- Writing or using tools for optimizing the obtaining of collectibles
- Abusive usage of the bot, such as attempting to obtain elevated permissions or affecting the availability of the services provided by the bot.
- Selling or exchanging collectibles against other goods such as money, also known as “crosstrading”.
- Running a third party market or exchange platform without using the means provided by the bot is not allowed.
- Trades where elements outside of the bot’s scope are involved are not allowed. Only countryballs may be exchanged using the built-in trade service.
- The following exeptions are:
- Micronational currencies or any form of currency not recognized by the United Nations.
- Online currencies or any form of virtual currency that can be exchanged for non-monetary goods or services, such as bartering or trading for specific tasks or favors.
- Please note that these exceptions apply specifically to the mentioned currencies and virtual currencies for non-monetary exchanges.
- Belonging to or being a member of an online terrorist community, defined by the Microballs developers.

Any user found to be breaking these rules, directly or not, will be blacklisted from the bot. Guilds that have been actively participating in such activities may be prevented from inviting the bot again, and its members may be blacklisted together. There is no notice nor message sent prior to a sanction.
Another mean of sanction may be the deletion of collectibles, including the ones that were traded over to other users.
Automated tools can be run to automatically apply sanctions to users who have been detected as breaking the rules.
Contesting a sanction
If you want a re-evaluation of your case, you may do so by submitting a ticket in the Discord server (#ticket channel).
The MicroBalls moderation team has the right to accept, deny or ignore any request, with or without reason. You may not be notified about the decision of the team. The availability of the appeals, is not guaranteed.
